Dear Jim,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the flooring that was installed in my home recently as a result of the flooding that occured when you installed the heat pump. All looked good when you left that hot day in July, and who was to know that a few short hours later the pipe would disconnect and flood my kitchen and living room areas. It was a very unfortunate mishap, but you handled it beautifully and I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I'm sure if it were another company handling this job, they would have pointed the finger at anyone but themselves for letting it happen. You guys took responsibility for the problem and resolved it quickly and efficiently. I commend you for that.

Again, my sincere thanks for taking the matter into your own hands and handling it in a professional manner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your company to anyone needing your services.
